BIOGRAPHY OF

CLARK ENSLIN

Clark Enslin was born in Little Rock Arkansas and was later raised in Waymart, Pennsylvania.  Waymart is as country as one can get, but it is where Mr. Enslin learned his values and integrity.

The Early Years, Car Model Magazine (Click the underline to check the article):  At the early age of 13, when he was not exploring the old sawmill, or spending time on his uncle's farm, or playing the guitar, he was building model cars.

One day, Clark's father brought home a Car Model Magazine for the young Clark. And after seeing other people winning money and trophies for their models, Clark took photos of his models and sent them to the magazine, which was located in New Jersey, just to show them what he was doing and how far ahead of the times he was. Clark knew he was much better at building and modifying model cars, than the people that were doing it for a living and making money. The Magazine soon contacted Clark, and after a meeting with Clark Sr., a deal was struck, and the Magazine hired both Clarks: Clark Jr. at the age of 13, as a staff writer, and his dad, Clark Sr. as the company Controller. At the time, Clark Sr. was an out-of-work accountant working as a prison guard. The Magazine soon relocated the entire family to New Jersey. The Magazine featured one of Clark's special projects, which was The Car Model Project, "Super Vette" designed and built by the young Clark Enslin.  Mr. Enslin worked as a staff writer until the age of 16 when he joined the Navy. (The rest is history)
